How to place an order

To place an order on our website is super easy.  First of all you start by browsing our vast collection of products by clicking the green 'PRODUCTS' button on the navigation bar.  Once pressed a list will be shown of all the categories on the website.  From here you can browse the categories to see individual products.  When you find a product that you wish to purchase simply click on the product to be taken to its own product page.  Here you can see a detailed description, images, selection of colours, frames etc, quantity amount and the price.  When you are happy with the selections you have chosen (if there are any) simply click on the big 'Add To Cart' button to add the product to the shopping cart (located at the top of the page shown as a big yellow icon of a shopping basket, hover your mouse over the icon to see the products in your shopping cart).

When you have added your desired amount of products to your shopping cart, hover over the 'My Account' button above the shopping cart and select 'Checkout'. Here you will be shown a complete breakdown of your products and a form for you to fill out your personal/payment details.

Below is a selection of questions that our customers have asked us over the years.  We hope we have covered the key questions on our products and services.

Q:           What is the lead time on classroom furniture?

A:            Usually 4 weeks but during the summer break lead times will be extended due to volume of orders etc. We do stock some fast moving lines for immediate delivery.


Q:           What is the lead time on seating?

A:            Between 4-6 weeks. If you need something urgently please look out for our fast track options (approx. 1 week delivery)


Q:           Can I return items after they have been delivered?        

A:            All furniture is made to your order so unless we can resell it for you (with a small re stocking charge) we unfortunately cannot accept returns. If you are in any doubt about the suitability of a finish or fabric please ask us for samples before ordering.


Q:           Is there a delivery charge?

A:            Delivery on orders over £50 is usually free. If a delivery charge is incurred due to a small order or a location outside our delivery area we will contact you before processing your order. Alternatively, use our quote function feature on our website and we will supply a quotation inclusive of carriage.


Q:           Do your prices include VAT?

A:            All listed prices exclude VAT.


Q:           Is there any charge for a site survey?

A:            All site visits and initial layout plans are free of charge as part of our service.


Q:           Can I see samples of furniture before I buy?

A:            We have many samples which you can either see in our showroom or we can arrange to be sent out for you.                


Q:           What accreditation do you have?

A:            CHAS and Construction Line accredited contractor status and are registered with the Citation health and safety scheme.


Q:           Can I get any discount on catalogue/website prices?

A:            All prices listed are discounted rates – however for large orders please contact us for bulk pricing or use our quote function on our website.


Q:           Can you deliver during the summer break?

A:            Yes, as long as we have contact details (name and number) of someone we can get it touch with to arrange delivery.


Q:           What is the guarantee on your furniture?

A:            All products have at least 12 months normal use guarantee, many are 5 years, some 20 years! We can supply written details on request.


Q:           What is the difference between MDF, PVC and PU edges on classroom tables?

A:            MDF edge is a lacquered wood edge, PVC is a plastic bonded edge and PU is a textured ‘spray on’ material which is seamless and the most hardwearing.


Q:           Can you supply tables with high pressure laminate top?

A:            Yes, we can supply classroom tables and desks with high pressure laminate tops for applications such as art or technology rooms.


Q:           Is your furniture delivered flat packed or fully assembled?

A:            Unless otherwise stated, our fitters will do all the necessary assembly as part of our service.  


Q:           What happens if part of my order is damaged on delivery?

A:            Faulty goods will be credited, replaced or repaired in accordance with manufacturer’s policy. Please supply images of any damaged furniture and make sure you check you order as soon as possible after delivery. Some manufacturers or carriage companies have a short window to report any damaged goods.


Q:           What sort of chair do you recommend for back problems?

A:            Many of our task and operator chairs are fully ergonomic which gives you more adjustment and can ease discomfort caused by incorrect posture or back conditions. If you are not sure don’t hesitate to speak to one of our advisors.


Q:           Do you supply DDA compliant furniture?

A:            We can supply height adjustable desking and also DDA compliant fitted solutions for receptions etc.


Q:           Can you project manage a full interior refurbishment?

A:            We do have the facilities to coordinate a full scale interior project and we are very happy to give references for previous projects.


Q:           Can you recycle our old furniture when we place an order with you?

A:            Occasionally we can recycle some items or rehome via a charity – if this is something you are interested in please contact us for details.


Q:           What size tables and chairs should I buy?

A:            Recommended combinations for chairs/tables and advised heights for age of children. (These are only an indication, for accuracy when ordering check the dimensions of your existing furniture or ask us for samples to try out)
